Experienced Bench Joiner/ Cabinet Maker | Amersham | Full Time | Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a half-hour lunch break in an 8.5-hour day; overtime and Saturdays are often available but not guaranteed | £34,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client is looking for experienced bench joiners, carpenters, and cabinet makers to join their growing team producing kitchens and joinery for high-end, luxury projects in and around London. They manufacture everything in-house at their workshop in HP7 0FA, where the role will be based.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Must have 5+ years' experience in workshop producing joinery, furniture or similar
  • Woodworking or similar qualification would be beneficial, but not essential
  • An advanced level of bespoke furniture/cabinetry manufacturing skills, including understanding of different materials and industry processes
  • Experience using CNC, edge bander, and laminating press is highly desirable
  • Must take pride in own work and have an astute attention to detail
  • Highly presentable, polite, and professional, reflecting brand values
  • Natural problem solver
  • Possess strong organisation and time management skills
  • Experience working on high-end residential projects is preferable
  • Permanent UK residence with strong English language skills

What will your role look like?

  • Confidently reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
  • Confidently using power tools, hand tools, and machinery, including panel saw, spindle, thicknesser, to machine components and assemble items as necessary. Preferable to have a full personal set of power and hand tools
  • Conducting quality checks – ensuring high standards
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop
  • Work independently and in a team
