Bench Worker/Binder Operative | Stevenage, Hertfordshire |Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (overtime may be available)| £23,796 – £27,000 per annum (based on skills and experience)

Due to increased workload, we’re on the lookout for a Bench Worker/Binder Operative to join a growing company in Stevenage.

Are you the right person for the job?

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Good computer skills and familiarity with basic software.
• Strong organisational, numeracy, and literacy skills.
• A knack for clear verbal communication.
• A “can-do” attitude with a good sense of humour (it helps under pressure!).
• Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks.
• Local to Stevenage (within a 30-minute commute of SG1 2XU).
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the job.

Bonus: Prior experience in print finishing is great but not required—our client is happy to train the right person!

What will your role look like?

• Packing books, arranging courier collections, and managing deliveries.
• Organising storage spaces, maintaining packaging supplies, and labelling goods accurately.
• Assisting the bindery operative and contributing to other print-finishing tasks as needed.
• Loading/unloading delivery vehicles and preparing delivery notes.
