We're growing our dedicated Service & Maintenance team and seeking experienced Air Conditioning Engineers / HVAC / AC Engineers / Combustion Engineers / Plumbers who excel in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive/call-outs. If you thrive on variety, quick fault-finding, and being the go-to expert for urgent fixes, this is your next role!
As a mobile Engineer, you'll deliver service, maintenance, fault-finding, repair, and installation work on commercial systems (VRV/VRF, splits, fan coils, comfort cooling, chilled water systems, etc.). You'll support long-term contract clients with reactive call-outs and emergency response to keep buildings running smoothly around the clock.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), service visits, and compliance checks
- Respond promptly to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs (including out-of-hours rota)
- Diagnose faults, repair, recharge, and commissioning
- Complete F-Gas paperwork accurately and maintain site logbooks
- Perform minor installations, modifications, and upgrades as required
- Work closely with the office team to log jobs, update clients, and ensure fast resolution
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, AC Service Engineer, Mobile AC Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or similar in commercial building services
- Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, splits, fan coils, chilled water, etc.)
- Valid F-Gas Category I certification
- Excellent fault-finding, repair, and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
- Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
- Experience with reactive/emergency works and OOH call-outs in commercial environments
- Knowledge of BMS/controls, ventilation, or associated mechanical systems
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
