Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham, London is seeking a talented Pastry Sous Chef to join its pastry team. Part of the legacy of Sale e Pepe, Sale e Pepe Mare delivers a refined, seafood-led Italian dining experience, combining coastal flavours with contemporary Mediterranean elegance.
The Pastry Sous Chef will support the Head Pastry Chef in the day-to-day running of the pastry section, ensuring consistency, quality, and organisation across all services.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily running of the pastry section
- Deliver consistently high standards of preparation and presentation
- Maintain strong organisation, prep levels, and service execution
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
- Support the development of junior pastry chefs
- Work closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
This is a hands-on role, suited to a Pastry Sous Chef who is confident in service, detail-driven, and comfortable working within a high-standard, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Current Pastry Sous Chef or strong Pastry Junior Sous Chef
- Experience in a high-quality, high-volume restaurant environment

- Calm, organised, and reliable during service
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
