We are seeking a dynamic and charismatic Maitre’d to lead the front-of-house guest experience at Sale e Pepe Mare, our exciting new opening in early 2026. As the face of the restaurant, you will oversee the host and reception team, orchestrate the flow of service from door to table, and set the tone for unforgettable guest journeys. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the reception and hosting function, ensuring smooth and seamless guest arrivals, seating, and departures.
- Act as the ambassador of the restaurant, greeting and engaging guests with warmth, professionalism, and charm.
- Manage seating allocations to maximise covers while maintaining a refined guest experience.
- Work closely with the management team to coordinate service flow and ensure exceptional communication between front-of-house and back-of-house.
- Recruit, train, and inspire the reception and host team, setting high standards for guest care and service delivery.
- Resolve guest concerns with confidence and discretion, always protecting the reputation of the restaurant.
- Uphold and enforce all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement, striving for excellence in every member and guest interaction.

Requirements/Skills:
- Proven experience as a Maitre’d, Reception Manager, or similar leadership role in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Impeccable personal presentation and communication skills.
