We are looking for a passionate Commis Sommelier to join our team. The Role As a Commis Sommelier, you will support the Sommelier team in delivering an exceptional wine service that complements our food and creates memorable guest experiences. The Commis Sommelier will assist with recommending wines, serving wines correctly, maintaining the wine cellar, ensuring stock is presented and stored to the highest standards, and continuously developing product knowledge through structured training. Working closely with the Restaurant Management and Sommelier teams, the Commis Sommelier will play an important role in delivering the outstanding service standards for which Sale e Pepe Mare is known. About You We are looking for someone who has: Previous experience as a Commis Sommelier, Wine Waiter/Waitress or within a premium restaurant environment. A genuine passion for wine, food and hospitality. WSET Level 1 or Level 2 (desirable but not essential). A strong desire to learn and develop within the world of wine. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Confidence working in a busy, luxury hospitality environment. Immaculate presentation and attention to detail. A positive attitude and a team-first approach. The right to work in the UK.
