About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Concierge to join our front-of-house team.

As the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe, and professionally managed environment. You will deliver outstanding customer service, manage daily front-of-house operations, and support residents with a wide range of enquiries and requests.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of building positive relationships with residents while providing clear, accurate, and timely communication to the wider management team. You will take pride in maintaining a professional appearance and presentation, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team. The role requires someone who can confidently manage their workload, use initiative, and remain calm, organised, and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Resident & Visitor Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, visitors and guests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all front-of-house enquiries.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and help foster a strong sense of community.
  • Resolve routine enquiries efficiently and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Support resident engagement initiatives and community events.
  • Deliver a warm, professional and welcoming experience at all times.

Front of House Operations

  • Manage parcel, post and delivery processes in accordance with site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate resident and visitor records.
  • Assist residents with amenity bookings and facility enquiries.
  • Log maintenance requests and monitor progress through completion.
  • Complete daily administration tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide comprehensive shift handovers to colleagues.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with management, ensuring contractor visits, resident concerns, operational issues, and other building matters are accurately reported and escalated where required.
  • Take ownership of the Concierge function during your shift, making informed decisions and working independently while following company procedures.

Security & Access Control

  • Monitor CCTV, access control systems and building alarms.
  • Verify contractor and visitor access in line with building procedures.
  • Manage key control systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Report incidents, security concerns and suspicious activity.
  • Support the creation of a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.

Building & Resident Support

  • Conduct regular walks of communal areas and amenities.
  • Report maintenance, cleaning or health and safety concerns promptly.
  • Support operational teams in maintaining excellent building standards.
  • Assist with preparing resident amenities and event spaces when required.
  • Promote exceptional standards of presentation throughout the development.

Health & Safety

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Report hazards, accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Support emergency procedures and evacuation processes where required.
  • Maintain awareness of building safety and compliance responsibilities.

About You

You will have:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for residents and visitors.
  • Previous experience within concierge, front-of-house, hospitality, residential, hotel, or customer service environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with residents, contractors, colleagues, and senior management.
  • A professional, well-presented, and approachable manner at all times, acting as a positive ambassador for the development.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks with limited supervision.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, email, and digital management systems.
  • Experience using digital reporting tools, spreadsheets, and property management systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technology.
  • Sound judgement, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations, complaints, or emergencies.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism across the development.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Customer service or front-of-house experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within residential property, Build to Rent, hotels, serviced apartments or luxury hospitality.
  • Experience using parcel management, visitor management or property management systems.
  • First Aid qualification.
