We are seeking a commercially minded Capital Markets Manager to support strategic funding initiatives and financing activities within an FCA-regulated consumer lender with a strong social impact mission. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will play an important part in managing existing funding relationships and supporting future funding and structured finance transactions, including potential securitisation activity. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment and able to combine analytical capability with strong execution, project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Success in this role will involve building strong relationships with lenders and investors, supporting successful transaction execution, managing multiple financing workstreams effectively, and helping the business maintain funding readiness as the organisation evolves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of future warehouse and securitisation transactions, including management of advisers, investors and counterparties.
  • Assist in managing financing processes with banks, mezzanine providers, institutional investors and other funding partners.
  • Lead the preparation and maintenance of transaction data rooms, due diligence materials and investor information packs.
  • Manage information requests and transaction workstreams involving lenders, investors, lawyers, auditors and other advisers.
  • Support transaction analysis, funding models and transaction documentation during fundraising and financing processes.
  • Support ongoing debt fundraising initiatives, including retail bond raises and other strategic funding activities.
  • Prepare and coordinate investor presentations, offer documents and supporting fundraising materials.
  • Support management and development of lender and investor relationships, including reporting and covenant monitoring.
  • Conduct market research on funding structures, capital markets developments and potential financing partners.
  • Assist with strategic projects and evaluation of funding options for new ventures and products.
  • Support strategic funding initiatives, including evaluation of potential equity funding opportunities where relevant.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Risk and external advisers to ensure transaction readiness and successful execution.
Capabilities Required
  • Experience in structured finance, capital markets, corporate finance, debt advisory, fintech lending or investment banking.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and transaction workstreams.
  • Strong execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including preparation of investor materials, presentations and fundraising documentation.
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage due diligence and transaction data room processes effectively.
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders, investors, lenders and external advisers.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment with evolving priorities.
  • Understanding of securitisation, warehouse financing, specialty finance or consumer lending structures.
  • Experience within fintech, consumer credit, specialty finance or other regulated financial services businesses.
  • Experience supporting financing transactions, debt fundraising or capital raising processes.
  • Familiarity with investor reporting, covenant compliance or funding documentation processes.
