SAL Healthcare is looking for a part-time Nominated Individual: one or two days a month, sitting above the Registered Manager, paid to say when we've got something wrong.

Why we're hiring

Our previous Nominated Individual stepped down in July 2026. Since then I've been Registered Manager, sole director and interim NI all at once.

About us

A premium CQC-registered home care provider in Bournemouth, serving private clients across Dorset.

Registered in August 2025.

Not yet inspected, so we're working towards our first rating.

The governance half

One structured governance day a month: audits, incidents, safeguarding, complaints, notifications, training.

A short written oversight note afterwards, a quarterly deep dive, and our first inspection with you there.

Senior point of contact for CQC, and the independent route for any concern about the Registered Manager.

No on-call, no rota, no shifts, no nights.

The growth half

You'd open doors in Dorset's private-client world: later-life solicitors, Court of Protection deputies, wealth managers, private GPs, retirement developments.

We pay no referral fees, and nobody is asked to lean on a former employer.

Who we're looking for

One of these two, not both.

Regulatory: current or former Registered Manager or Nominated Individual, former CQC inspector, former council commissioner, or a care quality consultant.

Connected: you already move in Dorset's private-client world and can make introductions that turn into care packages.

Either way you'll need senior experience of holding a manager to account on compliance somewhere regulated.

Come through the second door without care experience and we'll fund your training.

Comp.

£150 per governance day (8 hours, £18.75 an hour), one day a month guaranteed, statutory holiday on top.

It's fixed by design and never moves with revenue, so your judgement is never priced.

Plus 20% of the net profit after wages on every package you personally bring in, for its first twelve months, paid monthly on money we've actually collected.

One live-in package is worth in the region of £6,000 to £7,000 to you in year one.

The details

A part-time employed senior management role, because Regulation 6 requires the Nominated Individual to be employed by the company.

Enhanced DBS with the adults' barred list, references and employment history, all after offer.

You'll need the right to work in the UK and we don't sponsor.

We're an equal opportunities employer, so tell us what you need and we'll make adjustments.

How to apply

Send your CV with a few lines on either an inspection you've been through and what you changed because of it, or the last introduction you made that became business.

Everyone hears back within 14 days.
