As a member of the global team, you will play an important role in the continued development of our branded business activity within EMEA.
What will you do?
- Drive the development and implementation of the Branded Business strategy and business plans for the region.
- Manage regional partnerships, negotiate contracts and monitor ROI throughout the value chain.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring resources align with business needs.
- Oversee financial reporting and profitability.
- Establish organisational structures for effective and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with governance, legislation, and brand protection standards.
Where will you work?
You will be based in Europe or the UK, working from one of our offices or remotely, reporting to your manager who is based in the South of France. You will have 1 direct report who leads a team of 3 Food Chain Managers based in different countries. This role, in a Japanese company, provides an opportunity to work in an international project-oriented environment, interacting with multi-cultural teams. Depending on your location, you could spend up to 40% of your time travelling. You will be required to work across time-zones, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Do you fit this profile?
- A business degree preferably specializing in Marketing, sales or Business Administration.
- At least 10 years' management experience in supply of fresh produce/ FMCG into major European retailers with full accountability for the P&L.
- At least 5 years' experience in conducting contract negotiations at senior level.
- Proven experience in management of external stakeholders.
- Successfully managed a multicultural team in different regions, ideally across EMEA.
- Solid financial acumen and understanding of compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, comfortable with delivering with a high level of autonomy.
- The ability to adapt to working in a "start-up" and flexible organisation structure as well as within more formalised structures.
- Fluency in English (other languages such as Spanish and French would be advantageous).
- Competence in using IT tools to support your work.
- The willingness to work outside normal office hours to liaise with global teams.
