Supporting US Markets

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in creative, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments? This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a global Communications business at a pivotal stage of growth. We're looking for a commercially minded People Business Partner to partner with senior leaders across the US markets, supporting teams in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Florida, whilst being based in Central London.

This is far more than a traditional HRBP role. You'll be a trusted advisor to leadership teams, influencing people strategy, driving organisational effectiveness, supporting complex employee relations matters, leading talent and performance initiatives and helping shape the employee experience across a growing international workforce. Working closely with an exceptional Chief People Officer, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact across multiple brands and businesses operating within a highly creative, collaborative and fast-moving environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to align people strategy with commercial objectives
  • Providing expert guidance across organisational design, workforce planning and business transformation projects
  • Leading on complex employee relations matters and coaching managers through challenging situations
  • Driving engagement, retention and talent development initiatives
  • Owning and facilitating performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and manager capability programmes
  • Designing and delivering learning and development initiatives that genuinely improve leadership capability
  • Supporting compensation, benefits and payroll activities across the US population
  • Leading HR projects, systems improvements and process optimisation initiatives
  • Using people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve organisational performance
  • Building trusted relationships across multiple locations, functions and leadership teams

What we're looking for:

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
  • Experience supporting US employee populations and a solid understanding of the US employee lifecycle
  • Strong employee relations expertise with the confidence to manage complex and sensitive cases
  • Previous experience working across multiple locations, brands or business units
  • Exposure to organisational change, transformation and restructuring projects
  • Experience with HR systems, ideally HiBob or Sage People
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law, with working knowledge of key US employment practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected international organisation where people genuinely sit at the heart of the business. You'll be working with inspiring leadership teams, partnering with talented employees across the US, and helping shape the future of a growing global workforce. The role offers significant exposure, autonomy and influence, making it ideal for someone who enjoys operating as a true business partner rather than simply delivering HR processes. Based in London's West End this is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office. Working hours are aligned to US Eastern Time, offering flexibility while ensuring close collaboration with colleagues across North America. Quarterly travel to the US is also part of the role.

If you're looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely influence business decisions, drive meaningful people initiatives and work within a dynamic international environment, I'd love to hear from you.
