HR Advisor – Creative Arts Studio – Gloucestershire – Permanent – c£40k + Benefits

Saisei Talent are looking to recruit a dynamic HR Advisor to join this creative Arts studio across 2 locations in Gloucestershire. With a company wide headcount of c200, this role will be responsible for 2 business areas in Gloucester (Stroud) and will have sole responsibility for around 70 employees.
Please note – This position is 5 days on site, in amazing creative building and we need someone who is confident in their abilities as an HR Advisor.
You must be an excellent relationship builder, the guys in the studios are not sitting at desks with laptops, they are creating impressive art work, they are in full production mode and are all incredibly creative. This is not your usual office based HR Position! You are on hand to answer all HR related queries in person.
This is a newly created role and as the stand alone HR Advisor, you will be at the heart of the people operations function. With daily support from the Head Office People team, you will be full responsible for providing comprehensive support and guidance to both managers and employees. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the company culture, implementing best practice, and ensuring all HR policies and procedures are effectively executed.
What are the main day to day responsibilities?
– Drive excellence across all aspects of the HR function, from recruitment and employee relations to change management and training initiatives
– Offer expert advice and pragmatic solutions on people management, balancing best practices with business needs
– Oversee critical HR processes, including contract preparation, policy updates, and system management
– Lead important employee meetings, from inductions to disciplinary proceedings, with professionalism and empathy
– Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
What do we need from you:
– In-depth, generalist knowledge of HR processes and a solid understanding of UK employment law
– Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with all levels of the organisation
– Strong organisational abilities and adept time management to juggle multiple priorities
– Proficiency with HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting to drive data-informed decisions
– Experience crafting detailed HR policies and guidance notes
– Adaptability and a proactive mindset to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
