HR Advisor Creative Media Business Gloucestershire

Full time, Permanent - 5 days on site £40k + benefits

Saisei Talent are delighted to be partnering with a distinctive creative media business to recruit an HR Advisor to join their Gloucestershire based team. This is not a traditional office based HR role. It is a highly people focused position within a working creative environment, where collaboration and creative production sit at the centre of everything they do.

Location: Gloucestershire

Car required

Working pattern: Five days on site

Business size: c150 employees

Scope: Responsibility for c40 employees

About the role

The role is based across multiple sites in Gloucestershire, with the HR Advisor splitting their time between locations during the working week. Due to limited public transport links, access to a car is essential. This role will really suit you if you enjoy being visible, present and hands on. This is an environment where people are practical, creative and focused on production, so HR needs to be accessible, confident and trusted in a face to face capacity. You will work closely with the People team in London while taking day to day ownership of HR delivery for the employees who sit in Gloucester.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day to day HR advice to managers and employees
  • Managing ER matters including absence, performance and sensitive conversations
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and people processes
  • Preparing contracts, policies and HR documentation
  • Managing HR systems, records, reporting and investigations
  • Leading key meetings such as disciplinaries, grievances and return to work discussions
  • Continuously improving HR processes to keep them practical and effective

What we’re looking for

  • Solid generalist HR experience
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident communicator and strong relationship builder
  • Organised, pragmatic and comfortable working autonomously
  • Experience using HR systems and producing clear HR documentation
  • Happy working five days on site and travelling between locations
