Trainee Offshore ROV Pilot Technician(s) - Staff

Purpose of the position: As a Trainee Offshore ROV Pilot Technician you will join the ROV Operations department to learn how to operate and maintain ROV systems and develop into a full‑time Pilot Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and repair submersible machines (ROVs), TMS, winch, and A‑Frame.
  • Pilot ROVs.
  • Fault‑find all ROV equipment.
  • Implement and monitor technical procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements at all times.
  • Participate in project tasks as outlined in the project scope of work.

Qualifications

  • HNC (or higher) qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic systems, or relevant experience.
  • Previous offshore technical exposure in a mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic field.
