Purpose of the position: As ROV Workshop Electrical Technician you will be part of the ROV Asset department. You will assist in carrying out Electrical maintenance on Saipem ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame etc.). In accordance with company procedures and direction of Workshop Manager and Lead Workshop Electrician.
Responsibilities
- To gain knowledge and experience on Saipem’s ROV and Equipment in order to assist in carrying out Electrical maintenance on ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, etc).
- To assist in carrying out maintenance, repair and upgrade activities related to the workshop electrical systems
- To become familiar with and to maintain awareness of Saipem’s current requirements / protocols / policies and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations
- To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Saipem’s policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-5 years with electrical activities in a similar workshop environment.
- Technical skills: Industry training in Electrical disciplines, and time-served.
- Eligibility: All applicants must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status, as Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.
- Pre- and post-employment medical assessments will be required and included as part of the Offer of Employment for all workshop personnel.
