Purpose of the position: As Offshore ROV Supervisor you will be part of the ROV Assets department. You will supervise the operations of ROV systems.
Activities:
- Maintain and operate the complete ROV System including the ROV, TMS, winch, A-frame, etc.
- Find faults on all ROV Equipment mechanical / hydraulic / electronic / electrical / control sub-system.
- Carry out ROV piloting activities.
- Mobilise and demobilise ROV systems on-board vessels and barges.
- Produce ROV dive logs (written/oral/video) for presentation to client.
- Ensure adherence to all internal/external Health, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements at all times.
- Participate in project responsibilities as outlined in the project scope of work.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 6 years (for level 2) or 8 years (for level 3) of ROV offshore activities (500 Flying Hours and 1,000 offshore days) and Work class ROV Systems operating.
- Technical skills: 4 years in electrical, electronical, mechanical, hydraulic or marine engineer trade background.
