Purpose of the position: As Graduate ROV Mechanical Engineer you will assist the ROV Asset department while developing technical knowledge of Saipem’s ROV equipment and systems in order to provide engineering support in future projects.
How can you support us?
- Support and assist the ROV Asset Department in engineering, technical and improvement projects.
- Develop technical expertise in ROV systems, equipment, engineering drawings, and related documentation, identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Assist with technical investigations, failure analysis, and the preparation of engineering reports.
- Gain an understanding of activities assigned to third‑party contractors, including scope definition, site supervision, deliverable approval, and compliance with project targets.
- Gain experience through site visits and FAT & SIT testing, while developing an understanding of latest industry codes, standards and regulations requirements.
What are we looking for?
- Education: relevant university engineering degree or HND combined with suitable industry experience.
- Technical skills: proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or other 3D software is considered an advantage.
- All applicants must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status, as Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.
- Pre and post‑employment medical assessments will be required and included as part of the Offer of Employment for all workshop personnel.
