Purpose of the position

As Buyer you will report to the Site Manager and will be the focal point for all buying activities on the ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will handle both direct and indirect procurement of goods and services onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase requisitions received from the section lead for goods and services.
  • Review PR for completeness, budget conformity and technical alignment with the project.
  • Prepare tender strategies and documents explaining our procurement process to vendors, including timelines and qualification information.
  • Liaise with bidders, inspectors, vendors and the Kingston office daily to ensure all parties understand the needs and requests.
  • Support vendors during the preparation of technical and commercial proposals while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Compare different vendor proposals and recommend actions to improve project results.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Buyer or equivalent for goods and services in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing strategy for goods and services.
  • IT skills: SAP and Microsoft 365.
