The Video Editor is responsible for editing and creating high-quality, on-brand video content across e-commerce, campaign, social and key marketing channels to support commercial and creative goals. You ensure all video assets are edited to a clear brief and are visually engaging, consistently graded, correctly formatted and delivered on time across all required platforms. You will be working closely with videographers and the broader creative team to deliver world class creative output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality video content for paid social, organic social, website, email and wider marketing channels in line with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Create engaging short-form and long-form video content using existing campaign, e-commerce and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Apply colour grading, sound balancing, retouching and motion treatments to ensure all video content feels polished, consistent and aligned with the brand aesthetic.
  • Adapt and reformat video assets for multiple platforms and aspect ratios, including Instagram, TikTok, Meta ads, YouTube and web placements.
  • Edit campaign videos that align with defined creative direction, pacing and storytelling objectives.
  • Create motion graphics, text animations, transitions and simple graphic overlays where required.
  • Collaborate closely with photographers, creatives, marketing and e-commerce teams to interpret briefs and deliver commercially effective video content.
  • Organise and maintain video asset libraries, ensuring correct file structures, naming conventions and version control.
  • Work to fast-paced studio deadlines and campaign launch schedules, proactively managing priorities and flagging risks early.
  • Ensure all exported assets meet technical specifications for their intended platforms and channels.
  • Support continuous improvement of video workflows, editing processes and content performance through creative testing and optimisation.

Skills and knowledge

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Media Encoder.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, colour grading, sound editing and platform-specific editing styles.
  • Excellent understanding of social media trends, video formats and what drives engagement across digital channels.
  • Strong eye for detail, composition and brand consistency.
  • Ability to interpret creative direction while also contributing ideas and creative solutions independently.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple edits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively across creative, marketing and e-commerce teams.
