Hours: 22.5 - 30 hours per week (including nights and weekends)
Salary: £29,740.49 per annum FTE pre-probation, increasing to £30,287.98 per annum FTE pending successful completion of probation (split of unsocial hours)

Main duties of the job:
- Providing compassionate care and support for patients' daily needs, including palliative and end-of-life care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow care plans, policies, and procedures, including infection control and safety guidelines
- Basic clinical skills (e.g. medication administration, monitoring) within training and competence
- Teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and volunteers
- Accurate record-keeping and documentation of care provided
- Understanding of patient dignity, hygiene, and safeguarding, including care after death
- Manual handling and safe use of equipment to support patient independence
- Flexibility to support different teams and tasks, including meals, housekeeping, and general patient comfort
