We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to ensure our children have a safe and happy lunchtime, both in the dining room and on the playground. This permanent, term‑time role is ideal for someone looking to work during school hours. You will look after our children at lunchtime, in the dining room and in the playground to ensure that they remain safe.
About us: Saint Mary's Catholic Voluntary Academy is a primary school located on Wellington Street, Grimsby. We are an Ofsted‑rated Good school and part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi‑Academy Trust, which brings together 36 Catholic primary and secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
About the role:
- Supporting and promoting good behaviour and positive interactions.
- Being a role model and setting a positive example for the children.
- Supervising children in the dining room, helping to serve meals, and ensuring lunchtime runs smoothly.
- Overseeing playtime activities, whether in the playground or indoors on rainy days, and encouraging fun, healthy, and active play.
Working hours: 5 hours per week, term‑time only. You will lead playtime games and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
