About the Role
As a PAL, you will play a vital role in our school by overseeing and leading on all aspects of student welfare. Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher of Inclusion, you will support the care, development and education of pupils, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while fostering positive relationships with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on progress, behaviour and pastoral support for pupils
- Promote positive behaviour and self-reliance among pupils, supporting their personal and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing
- Be ambitious and have high expectations of yourself and those around you
- Be a role model for the children we serve
What We’re Looking For
- Has experience of providing learning, pastoral and wellbeing support for children
- Can evidence improving pupil outcomes
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Shows excellent organisational and behaviour management skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
