Terry Yorath House is situated in Leeds and is home to adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. The service also provides 24-hour respite care to vulnerable adults.
We are currently seeking to recruit support workers, who are dedicated to work night shifts, to assist in providing 24-hour care and support to those using the service, which will enhance their quality of life. We believe that with the right support each and every person can achieve their potential. We are committed to helping the people we support achieve this and we show the same commitment to the people who work for us.
Please note that we are unable to sponsor overseas applicants and eligibility to work in the UK is required.
Essential Criteria:- NVQ2 in care (or willingness to attain)
- Being a kind, honest and caring person who can be accessible, approachable and comfortable with vulnerable people
- Ability to respond to guidance and direction
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willing to participate in social activities, outings/holidays with people using the service
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty and reliability
- Interested, motivated and committed
