You must be willing to be considered for an apprenticeship, working and studying at the same time.

Responsibilities

  • Checking in/out guests and dealing with their queries
  • Taking payments
  • Processing bookings
  • Checking and correcting any room/bed availability errors
  • Managing the housekeeping team
  • Ensuring the smooth and optimal functioning of the hostel

You'd be doing 4 night shifts per week, 7pm-7am.

Study / Hospitality Apprenticeship

You will study towards a Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship Level 2 for 12 months. The course will be paid for by the employer, and you will receive paid study hours (3 per week) outside working hours.

Remuneration Package

Starting pay will be at least the minimum wage for an apprentice and will depend on your skills and experience. For the 4 shifts per week you can expect to earn at least £1,200 per month. Monthly bonus for excellence behaviours / going above and beyond. Accommodation in a staff dormitory (you may opt not to live in the hostel). Use of laundry facilities. Free breakfast and dinner (you will help cook once per week). Free fast WiFi. Additional free food at other times (basic foodstuffs such as bread, milk, pasta, rice, etc.).
