Saint-Gobain Exterior Solutions is looking for a Regional Contractor & Housebuilder Support Manager to cover the North of England, building and strengthening relationships across our contractor and housebuilder network. This is a field-based role for someone who knows projection render inside out and wants to put that expertise to work supporting and influencing the people who install our products every day.
You'll work closely with the Head of Contractor & Housebuilder Support to grow existing partnerships and develop new ones across the region, championing construction best-practice & installation methods by providing market-leading technical support both on-site and through our Training Academy.
What you will be doing:
- Building credible relationships with national housebuilders through proactive technical support and education.
- Managing and developing the contractor network across the North of England in line with our Contractor and Housebuilder strategy.
- Feeding practical insight and customer feedback into the development of new products, systems and equipment.
- Delivering practical training in render products, systems and installation methods at SG Training Academies nationally.
- Carrying out site audits, start-ups and technical reviews to support quality.
- Investigating technical complaints, identifying root causes and providing clear, accurate solutions.
- Coaching the commercial team to build stronger render knowledge and consistent best practice.
What we're looking for:
- A Vocational Qualification Level 3 in Plastering, or Advanced Craft Certificate in Plastering.
- Significant hands-on experience in projection plastering, rendering and spray-applied coatings, with associated machinery experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, Building Regulations and site compliance.
- Experience working with National Housebuilders & Plastering Contractors.
- Confidence presenting and training, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
