At Okarno, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team, helping us deliver efficient warehouse operations, accurate stock management and excellent service to our customers. This role will be a key part of our busy warehouse team, supporting the smooth running of daily operations including goods-in, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play an important role in ensuring products are handled safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working as part of a team and taking pride in delivering a quality service.
The role is full-time, working on a rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:00, Friday 06:00 - 13:00
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 22:00, Friday 13:00 - 20:00
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is desirable, but we welcome applications from individuals with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage stock, orders and documentation.
- A proactive team player who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely handle and move products as part of the role.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, including receiving goods, stock management, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Safely loading and unloading deliveries, checking goods and ensuring stock records remain accurate.
- Operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and packing machinery, safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment while following all health, safety and quality procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes.
