At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for a talented Project Designer to join our technical support team. Our Technical Support team focuses on providing our market leading, bespoke and credible solutions to our customers, specifiers and our internal staff.
As part of our Project Designer role, you will be responsible for using our system solutions within BIM and AutoCAD in taking the customer's concept design and transforming their ideas into a 2D or 3D reality. This is a full-time permanent role, based in our East Leake Head Office site.
What will you be doing:
- Articulating customer requirements and developing design solutions to meet their needs
- Extensive use of BIM and AutoCAD
- Producing technical detailing to respond to customers' needs and optimising specifications
- Creatively and continuously tapping into sources of technical and professional know-how across the team and the business, keeping abreast of changes in the industry and using this knowledge to assist our customers
What we're looking for:
- Extensive experience in using CAD and BIM
- Able to articulate to a high level with both written and verbal communication skills
- You’ll possess a high level of attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and participate in continuous development of technical knowledge
- Experience of digitisation of construction
