- Accurate data entry and maintenance of transport management systems.
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery updates and service enquiries.
- Communicating with hauliers, drivers and third-party delivery networks to coordinate collections and deliveries.
- Monitoring daily transport operations and tracking shipments through to completion.
- Proactively notifying customers of delivery dates, times and any delays.
- Investigating delivery failures, service issues and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken where required.
- Uploading, retrieving and tracing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
- Preparing and issuing loader packs, manifests and delivery paperwork.
- Creating and issuing delivery labels and shipping documentation.
- Booking deliveries across multiple carrier and pallet network systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections and transport activity.
- Escalating operational issues and delays to the relevant stakeholders.
