Due to an increase in demand we are recruiting for operatives to join the team in Bodmin. We currently have a permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm. The role offers a pay rate of £13.25 per hour (£27,560pa), with the option of voluntary overtime at the standard hourly rate.
What we do: Pasquill is the largest supplier of trussed rafters in the UK, with an unrivalled national network of design and manufacturing sites providing nationwide coverage with local knowledge and service. Our portfolio includes a full range of innovative engineered timber solutions including roof trusses, I Joists, Posi-joists™, panelised roof systems, cassette floors, spandrel panels, and Glulam.
As an Operative you will be responsible for:
- Working from drawings to produce large timber engineered products.
- Organising cut timber efficiently to maintain production needs.
- Learning to operate different power and hand tools to produce goods.
- Operating machinery to ensure accuracy in the production of products.
- Setting, maintaining, troubleshooting and operating equipment in line with COSHH regulations.
- Accurately recording production information.
