We are looking for a strong people leader to join our Finance Shared Service Centre in East Leake as a Cash Management Team Leader. This is a great opportunity for someone with a finance background who enjoys leading teams, driving improvements, and working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small Cash Management team, driving performance and engagement.
- Oversee daily banking activities including statement uploads, reconciliations, and cash positioning.
- Manage payment runs (domestic, foreign, and intergroup) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support FX hedging activities and submit for approval.
- Ensure ERP systems (SAP, QAD, Business Central) are accurately updated, including journals and reconciliations.
- Work with the Group treasury system and support cash intergroup movements.
- Support onboarding of new businesses and changes within the function.
- Drive continuous improvement and support change initiatives within the team.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading or supervising a team (essential).
- Good knowledge of cash management activity and banking processes, including payment types and cycles is preferred; a strong background in a finance‑focused environment is also considered.
- Confident managing workloads, priorities, and deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment and supporting transformation.
