At Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, we're looking for a Client Director - Housing to play a pivotal role in shaping long-term, strategic partnerships across the social housing and retrofit sector. This is a senior, consultative sales role for someone who thrives on understanding complex client challenges and translating them into outcome-led solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll work with social housing providers, housing associations, local authorities, consultancies and key stakeholders across programmes to deliver safe, health and affordable homes. You'll take ownership of senior relationships, influencing strategy and helping clients achieve long-term value from their property portfolios whilst meeting the needs of their tenants and position Saint-Gobain solutions. This is a home-based, national role covering the UK, with regular travel to client sites. A full UK driving licence is essential.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience operating in a senior, consultative sales, key account or strategic account director role
  • Strong capability in uncovering client outcomes and aligning them to integrated, value-led solutions
  • Credibility and confidence networking across senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience developing strategic account plans
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to translate ideas into viable, deliverable propositions
  • Comfortable working autonomously within a matrix organisation
  • Deep understanding of the social housing landscape and retrofit programmes, including funding routes, compliance and delivery models
  • Demonstrable previous success delivering business within the social housing and retrofit sectors

  • Owning and developing long-term strategic relationships across key client accounts
  • Understanding client objectives and shaping solutions that deliver tangible outcomes
  • Collaborating with sector and brand teams to evolve Saint-Gobain's solutions offer
  • Building business cases to support new propositions and approaches
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with social housing providers, local authorities and delivery partners to support large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation programmes
  • Representing Saint-Gobain through industry events, exhibitions, workshops and CPDs
