At Pasquill, we are looking for a Designer to work in our Redhill team, helping to deliver high-quality engineered timber solutions, outstanding customer service, and efficient project turnaround. This role will be part of our collaborative and fast-paced Design team, where you'll take ownership of projects from initial quote through to final design. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams, making a real impact on customer experience by delivering accurate designs quickly and efficiently. Pasquill is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of engineered timber products, specialising in roof trusses, floor joists, and spandrel panels. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, Pasquill supports a wide range of customers from small builders to large regional housebuilders.
This role is office-based in Redhill working 8.00am-4.30pm Monday - Friday.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working in a construction industry with a focus on roof truss design and Posi-Joist design
- Working knowledge of PAMIR design software (essential)
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers and build strong relationships
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Relevant design experience (JJI software knowledge is advantageous)
What you will be doing:
- Producing accurate quotes and MiTek Pamir Designs for roof trusses and floor joists from enquiry through to final design
- Managing customer enquiries and maintaining regular communication throughout the design process
- Working closely with the sales and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure designs meet customer requirements
- Supporting improvements in turnaround time and overall customer experience
