Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across our Infrastructure and Building product ranges, working with distributors, contractors and specialist applicators. You'll play a key role in managing the full supply chain, from stockists through to Tier 2 contractors, ensuring our market-leading solutions are successfully specified and delivered across your region.

Representing a full suite of products from Fosroc, RIW, GCP and Stirling Lloyd, you'll build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, and ensure our partners receive the highest level of service and support. This role predominantly covers the Southwest, so a full UK driving licence is required.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven sales experience within the construction sector (e.g. Concrete Repair, Ready Mix, Grouting, Waterproofing, Fixings or similar)
  • A genuine, customer-focused approach, professional, personable and confident communicating technical observations clearly and effectively
  • Resilience and confidence when facing challenges, with the ability to adapt to changing customer needs
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset, someone driven, hungry for success and able to operate independently

What you will be doing:

  • Visiting stockists and engaging with contractors across your region to promote our product portfolio
  • Managing and developing the area to achieve volume and gross margin targets, nurturing both new and existing relationships with stockists, contractors and specialist applicators
  • Manage your own infrastructure led specification bank KPI, running the area as a hybrid specification role when required
  • Supporting key projects and generating new business opportunities across the supply chain and contractor base
