At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead our Scotland, North East and Cumbria regions. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a successful regional sales strategy, while providing strong leadership and management to a team actively engaged with our trade customers. You will play a key role in driving profitable sales growth by coaching and developing the team and by building effective internal and external relationships to deliver against agreed business plans. You will be a seasoned senior sales professional with a strong customer focus, able to anticipate and adapt to customer needs while developing long-term, value-driven relationships. This is a home-based role requiring regular travel across the region.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven ability to anticipate and adapt to customer needs, with a strong track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
- Extensive industry experience, ideally within drylining or related construction products
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to develop colleagues to be the best version of themselves while fostering a culture of TEC and high engagement
- Experience leading and embedding change within a fast-paced organisation
- Exceptional negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen
- Experience managing commercial site projects from a project management perspective
What you will be doing:
- Creating and delivering a clear, robust regional sales plan that can be effectively communicated to key stakeholders, including oversight of implementation and negotiation of trading terms
- Leading, coaching and developing a motivated, capable sales team to deliver sustainable growth, bringing your own leadership style while operating within the wider business culture
- Driving the development and execution of local product launch plans aligned to our product leadership objectives
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and effective supply and demand management, working collaboratively across internal functions
