Are you a Maintenance Engineer seeking a days-based role where you can work independently and take ownership of engineering tasks in a busy manufacturing site? At Glassolutions , we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team . Your role will involve maintaining our site’s efficiency to ensure timely delivery to our customers. This Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be part of our small but effective Engineering Team , collaborating with the production team. Responsibilities include planned maintenance, continuous improvement projects, and reactive tasks. Glassolutions is part of Saint-Gobain , the UK’s leading provider of glass and glazing solutions to various sectors. This is a shift role, working 5 days a week on a rotating schedule of early, late, and night shifts. What we’re looking for: Minimum Level II City and Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations Proven multi-skilled engineering experience in manufacturing Ability to liaise with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors Knowledge of PLC controls and good Microsoft IT skills Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude Welding experience Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams What you will be doing: Using the Shire system for planned maintenance Performing reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs Taking sole responsibility for engineering tasks on shift Collaborating with the production team for shutdowns and updates Acting as a health and safety ambassador, working within safe systems of work Are Glassolutions and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?
