Someone who enjoys stepping back to see the broader landscape, spotting patterns, uncovering opportunities and connecting people around a shared direction. This role sits at the heart of our Commercial Sector. It’s where insight, curiosity and strategic thinking meet real-world impact. You’ll explore how the market is changing, listen closely to customers and influencers, and translate what you learn into a clear, confident path forward. This is a space for someone who enjoys blending creativity with analysis and thrives on building trusted relationships. Your work won’t be confined to one desk or one location. You’ll spend time with NHS Trusts, academy groups, architects, major contractors and developers—people with different pressures, expectations and ambitions. Each conversation adds another piece to the picture, helping you understand how Saint-Gobain can support them in better, smarter and more sustainable ways.
Candidates should hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel nationally.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who has shaped strategy before, ideally within technical or solution-led environments, and who understands how ideas turn into action.
- A person who enjoys exploring insight, using information, data and customer stories to guide thinking.
- A relationship builder, naturally curious about people and motivated by long-term, meaningful influence.
- A communicator who brings clarity, able to explain strategic thinking in a way others can connect with.

- Experience partnering with architects, developers, consultants, contractors or public bodies is helpful, though not essential.

- Building trusted relationships early in the customer journey and becoming a go-to partner for guidance and sector knowledge.
- Crafting sector stories and value propositions that help others explain the benefits of our approach.
- Bringing teams together, aligning thinking and supporting colleagues to deliver the sector plan with confidence.
- Encouraging the use of evidence—data, research and real-world examples—to strengthen strategic decisions.
