At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we're looking for a Project Leader to join our Central R&D Innovation Centre in East Leake, helping to drive the development of innovative products, analytical methods and technical solutions that support our customers and businesses around the world. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on analytical science with project leadership.
You'll lead and support multiple projects, translating complex analytical data into meaningful insights that influence product development, quality improvement and customer solutions. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the UK, Europe and rest of the world, playing a key role in shaping the future of our gypsum technologies.
What we're looking for:
- Degree qualified in Chemistry, Materials Science, Analytical Science or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working in an analytical laboratory environment using techniques such as XRF, XRD, TGA, microscopy, SEM/EDX or similar analytical instrumentation.
- Proven experience leading technical investigations, method development projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate across functions, teams and global locations.
- Naturally curious and proactive, with the ability to identify problems, generate insights from data and drive solutions through to completion.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and delivering multiple analytical and innovation projects that support product development and customer requirements.
- Developing and improving analytical development methods to support gypsum-based solutions.
- Interpreting analytical data and translating findings into actionable recommendations for R&D and manufacturing teams.
- Acting as a key technical partner to global project teams, providing specialist analytical expertise across Saint-Gobain's gypsum businesses.
- Building strong relationships across international R&D networks, identifying opportunities to share knowledge, improve processes and solve complex technical challenges.
