Saint-Gobain Formula are looking for a Quality Manager for an 18-months fixed term contract to join and ensure that our manufacturing processes and products meet industry standards, customer requirements and regulatory requirements.
Saint-Gobain Formula is a leading supplier of high-performance industrial plaster and gypsum products. We have the aim to be the worldwide leader in the specialist gypsum and plasters industry with leading product brands in all markets. This is a full-time, 18-months fixed term role based in our plant in Newark.
What will you be doing?
- You will be responsible, first and foremost for the health and safety of staff members.
- Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining quality management systems (for industrial/construction plasters and minerals, animal feed and food) to ensure that manufacturing processes and products meet industry standards.
- You’ll be playing a key part in driving continuous improvement, reducing defects, and fostering a culture of quality excellence in the organisation.
- Lead the development of the WCM Pillar.
- Leading of projects as defined by ‘One Formula’ & site.
- Ensuring quality activities are controlled according to company standards (ISO9001), Weights and Measures, EN standards, HACCP for food and feed safety.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in working as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading audits.
- Experience in ISO9001 Quality Management.
- Previous experience in HACCP.
- WCM tools & techniques.
- Industrial product and manufacturing process experience including food and feed.
