We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehousing team. As part of our warehousing team you will be responsible for the receipt of goods inwards and outwards from the warehousing depot. Working alongside our production team, you will be responsible for moving goods from the end of the production line to placement in the warehouse.
- Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues.
- Provide an excellent level of service and support to the customer at all stages of the customer experience.
- Carry out fork-lift duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Experience with digital scanning.
- Assist with stock reconciliation, ensuring stock control systems are up to date and inventories are accurate.
- Assist with improvements and efficiencies in all warehousing aspects.
- Responsible for material waste management.
- Ensure that machinery is in a safe and satisfactory working manner and conduct regular checks.
- Ensure effective housekeeping in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and maintained, ensuring quick and accurate information can be obtained when required.
- Any other duties required to fulfil the needs of the role.
Essential Criteria:
- GCSE qualification in Maths & English minimum Grade C or equivalent.
- Forklift Truck Licence.
- Experience of working in a warehouse within a manufacturing sector.
