At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for a Fire Protection Specification and Development Manager to join our new fire protection sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take our new firestopping products and solutions to market working closely with main contractors, architects, specifiers, dryliner and specialist installers. You will be an experienced technical commercial person, who has experience in specification sales experience, as well as previously working across distribution clients in firestopping and fire protection products and solutions. This role is home-based, but frequent travel is required for the role as we are looking for someone to cover the North of the UK. What we\’re looking for: Technical sales experience with specifier contractor, dryliner and specialist installers project experience within passive fire protection IFE Level 3 An ability to negotiate and possess commercial acumen Previous experience in specifying and selling passive fire protection solutions Able to work on own initiative in an organised way with high level of drive and motivation to succeedWhat you\’ll be doing: Developing new business development opportunities with new and existing customers, building and managing relationships that include; specialists, main contractors, distributors and specifiers Providing fire protection expertise including advice and support to internal and external customers Providing fire education sessions and seminars to key clients and main contractors Influencing our distribution partners to stock our firestopping range through their relationships and supporting their staff with training and product knowledgeAre SGIS and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?
