DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To deliver agreed sales KPI’s for the store focusing on sales, ATV, UPT, conversion and CRM.
- Assist with the execution of all product launches as per Marketing Plan and instruction from HQ, including sampling campaigns, in-store displays, layouts and window schemes.
- Work with the Business Manager to implement and adhere to VM guidelines at all times, ensuring that the team are trained on all standards.
- Manage all events inclusive of launch previews, customer events, MDS and Fragrance Fittings.
- Provide excellent customer service and deal with consumer queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain and develop strong relations with customers and deliver impeccable service at all times.
- Ensure that all staff demonstrate high levels of knowledge about our products and can fully represent the brand in the store.
- Maintain knowledge of key competitors and industry trends.
- Act as the secondary point of contact at the store for HQ, giving and receiving feedback and information professionally.
- Communicate effectively with the Store Manager about the commercial understanding of the store and make fact-based recommendations to improve the business.
- Participate in regular team meetings to keep the staff updated on all areas of the business.
- Ensure the back of house areas are maintained to a high standard that supports the needs of the sales floor.
- Support the Business Manager to ensure all paperwork and reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure that Cash Handling guidelines are followed at all times.
- Support the Business Manager with managing the store team and dealing with staffing issues where appropriate.
- Coach and develop all staff on an ongoing basis using available tools.
- Address performance issues of team members smoothly and effectively in a timely manner.
- Be aware of all security and health and safety issues and ensure all staff are informed.
- Support actions of loss prevention in risk management, physical security, store cash controls and inventory management.
- Manage maintenance within the store with the Business Manager and Operations Manager.
- Ensure stock levels are sufficient and monitored, conducting regular scheduled stock takes as required.
- Act as the local market retail “expert” for Diptyque by developing relationships with local retailers and events.
- Be contactable at all times as the secondary key holder for the store.
- Manage all emergency situations involving the store and team members in the absence of the Business Manager.
- Perform general administrative duties.
- Abide by Company rules and policy.
