We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed and well qualified Key Stage 2 Teacher to join the Prep department at Saint Felix School. The successful candidate should be able to teach a broad range of subjects across Key Stage 2 to the whole age and ability range. The post holder will also take part in the future development of the school both within the curriculum and the extra-curricular programme.
Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged from 2 to 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years. We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher who will be able to:
- Deliver exciting and inspiring lessons across KS2 within the Prep school.
- Have high expectations of pupils’ attainment, progress and behaviour.
- Actively support the co-curricular programme at Saint Felix.
- Work with pupils of all ability and encourage pupils to develop and reach their potential every lesson.
This position would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for their first teaching position. As a smaller school with a community culture, you will soon appreciate the warmth and sense of friendliness that embodies the institution.
