Make an Impact on People’s Lives; Join SE Health as an NSWOC Nurse in the Alliston, Bradford, Nobleton, and Tottenham areas $2,500 sign-on bonus + great benefits and a supportive team POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team in Downtown Toronto, you will provide specialized holistic assessment and management as part of an interprofessional team to meet the needs of individuals and families with ostomies, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal continence concerns. Why Join Our Team: Competitive Compensation including a comprehensive benefits package, RRSP pension, and exclusive staff discounts Opportunities for professional development through education bursaries, tuition assistance, and ongoing training Career growth potential within a large national organization with diverse healthcare roles and locations Subsidized RNAO memberships RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Support and Consultation Conduct detailed holistic assessments of clients with wound, ostomy, and/or continence concerns Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team Evaluate care plans and involve specialized resource nurses as appropriate Provide education and mentorship to build knowledge within SE Health Offer consultation to care providers and facilitate knowledge dissemination Coordinate with the care team to optimize client outcomes and reduce duplication of services Program Development and Leadership Support quality healthcare through teaching, mentoring, and program development Review quality improvement reports to prioritize needs Identify trends and issues related to wound, ostomy, and continence care Develop educational tools and stay updated on best practices Promote research and participate in projects, conferences, and publications Collaborate with professional nursing associations and community initiatives REQUIREMENTS: Completion of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program (international certification considered) Current and active membership in NSWOC Canada preferred RN with current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario Flexibility, commitment to ongoing education, and willingness to travel Excellent communication, teaching skills, and computer proficiency About SE Health: SE Health is dedicated to making a difference in Canadian communities by providing compassionate, innovative healthcare.
