Saint Benedict Secondary School, situated in the beautiful Darley Abbey area on the outskirts of Derby, is the city’s only Catholic secondary school serving a diverse community of students from over forty countries. What are we looking for?

Specific areas of responsibility will be decided based on the skillset of the successful candidate and the existing team.

General responsibilities:

  • Contribute to school self‑evaluation, development, planning and appraisal.
  • Attend Governor meetings and major school events.
  • Play a full part in ensuring the efficient day‑to‑day running of the Academy.

Qualifications and expectations:

You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to influence and motivate all members of the school community. You must be motivated and determined to drive forward school improvement. This post is subject to satisfactory references, a DBS check, medical check, evidence of qualifications and verification of right to work in the UK.
