We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse or a nurse looking to further develop their clinical skills within a busy GP practice. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our patient population and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job:
- Childhood immunisations and vaccinations
- Cervical cytology (smear taking)
- Complex wound care and dressings
- NHS travel vaccinations and advice
- Health promotion and preventative care
- Infection prevention and control
- Chronic disease monitoring and general nursing duties within primary care
