What You'll Do

Your role will involve analyzing pricing and promotions data, framing commercial and customer questions, and bringing together key insights and stakeholders to drive strategic change across value propositions and channels. Additionally, you will lead the business-wide integration of these strategies through compelling storytelling, collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen propositions, and ensuring post-launch review of propositions to meet commercial and customer objectives. Your expertise in value performance and market insight will be crucial as you closely follow market movements, provide regular reporting, and communicate the Sainsbury's Commercial Strategy to galvanize stakeholders behind the vision.

Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in developing and implementing value strategies within a customer-centric, large commercial organisation, with deep retail sector knowledge/expertise or experience.
- Significant demonstrable expertise in gathering, analysing and understanding large and varied data sources.
- Experience in consolidating data into meaningful insight and using these insights to drive strategic change across value propositions and channels.
- Ability to lead business-wide integration of strategies through compelling storytelling and collaboration with stakeholders across a range of seniorities.
- Proficiency in following market movements and providing regular reporting to communicate commercial strategies effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate clear insights and recommendations from complex data to drive business growth.
