What I am accountable for:
- Placing Purchase Orders (PO’s) to order stock, raising contracts for new orders.
- Tracking orders to maintain flow of appropriate volumes, flagging failures, issues and delays to wider stakeholders.
- Communicate with Suppliers, Network Planning and Logistics to facilitate a smooth flow of stock from the Supplier to Depot.
- Maintain accurate records of commitment to provide stock intake and output forecasts, prepare analysis reports, and update delivery schedules and relevant systems to reflect the latest supplier delivery positions.
- Collaborate with replenishment teams to plan initial allocations and launch builds to meet stock and availability targets.
- Ensure on-time delivery through supporting the achievement of milestones within the critical path, ensuring any issues are resolved or escalated where appropriate.
- Execute the planning for seasonal events and promotions for stock.
- Resolve store queries, alongside Supply Chain colleagues.
- Deliver accountabilities in alignment with availability and stock targets.

- Show an understanding of Supply Chain and how various factors could impact routes to market and the customer proposition.
- Demonstrate a desire to work in Supply Chain and a passion for food/non-food retail.
- Strong communication skills that enable Business Partnership, Stakeholder Management and Cross Functional Working.
- Ability to prioritise workload, keeping up with the demand of the changing retail landscape to ensure best customer outcomes.
- Understanding of Supply Chain processes.
- MS Office Proficiency: Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A diligent and thorough work ethic, with attention to detail.
- Experience working in either Supply Chain or Merchandising.
- Experience with AI systems, with an understanding of machine learning capabilities and benefits.
