As a Services Assistant, you’ll be one of our Christmas Champions that delivers the best shopping experience for customers.

Working in our stores this Christmas, you could be a Nut Roast Navigator or a Mince Pie Magician—bring your energy into the season and help make it the best Christmas for our customers.

Note: This role may be temporary over the festive period, with potential permanent opportunities. Please check the contract type and schedule hours before applying to ensure the role is right for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Always being on hand to serve and support customers on checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks, or other service points, answering questions and proactively offering help.
  • Picking and selecting high-quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting with Click & Collect parcels.
  • Building knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
  • Handling complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising.
  • Working flexibly across the store as needed.

Eligibility

  • You must be above the school-leaver age in your country. (School leaving age – GOV.UK)
  • If shifts include hours before 6am or after 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
