Nectar is the largest loyalty coalition programme in the UK so it’s safe to say we know our millions of customers pretty well. We build brilliant tech on top of rich first party data, to offer brands an insight into what makes their customers tick and what they might be interested in. All this drives sales back into our stores and therefore our bottom line – win, win.

Our media agency technology is market leading, cutting edge and fast-moving. We’re at the heart of Nectar360’s strategy which means lots of eyes are on us – and you’d be central to our success. You’ll support end-to-end delivery by maintaining a 90-day product roadmap and full-year backlog. This, of course, means prioritising effectively, escalating challenges as necessary and being hands-on with the development, delivering innovative functionality into the hands of users.

You’ll have your finger on the pulse of our development squads and work closely with a range of teams and third parties including some of the tech giants. You’ll have great support from your manager in this space and work together to drive the product forward.

You’ll be bold, curious, resilient and empathetic and able to connect with stakeholders and the team in an authentic way. What’s more, you’ll be comfortable with making decisions, challenging assumptions and taking risks.

  • You\'ll work with a large variety of stakeholders to steer the direction of development, interacting frequently with senior leaders and working closely with a range of teams and third parties
  • You\'ll track both effort and value delivery, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and use this insight to inform prioritisation
  • You’ll be responsible for coaching and mentoring other team members to enable them to grow and reach their full potential
  • Extensive experience in the Product Management discipline covering MarTech, market & customer research, owning roadmap, and delivery.
  • Experience in managing cross functional team, working with data scientists and data engineering.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of a retail business and technology landscape, and how to maximise the value that data products can and will add.
  • Clear understanding of Agile delivery and modern engineering team practices.
  • Judgement to make sometimes difficult and complex decisions at pace - comfortable dealing with ambiguous situations and helping drive toward clarity.
  • An ability to creatively solve problems and enthusiasm for delivering change through people and technology.
  • A high level of team contribution, seeking opportunities to provide input and support across the team and outside core areas of focus - a role model effective collaboration.

Bring specific insights on tools like JIRA or Trello that can help streamline these processes.

Know Your Metrics

Let’s face it, numbers are our best friends in product management. We should prepare to discuss key performance indicators (KPIs) and how we've used analytics to inform product decisions. Dive into examples where data has driven our strategy for improvements or justified product changes.
