Joining our Supply Chain & Logistics team at Sainsbury's as a Senior Business Change Manager means being at the forefront of one of the most transformative and ambitious change programmes in the company's history. You'll have the opportunity to lead and drive impactful change initiatives that optimise processes, enhance efficiencies, and elevate the customer experience across our entire supply chain network.
Working alongside a diverse and collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation, while being supported with comprehensive development tools, mentoring networks, and flexible working options to empower your professional growth and success. This role can be based from either our London, Manchester or Coventry Support Offices.
What You'll Do
Here, you will play a pivotal role in our largest ever Supply Chain Transformation programme, overseeing and driving the successful delivery of large-scale change initiatives to integrate, automate, and optimise processes and systems across the division. Working collaboratively with a diverse team of Change Managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders, you will define and deliver Change Management methodologies, create high-quality change materials, facilitate workshops with stakeholders at all levels, and provide guidance and support as a subject matter expert in Business Change.
Your responsibilities will also include contributing to the strategic direction of the transformation programme, influencing senior stakeholders, managing risks, issues, and dependencies, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale change initiatives within complex multi-stakeholder environments. With your expertise in Change Management theories and methodologies, along with your ability to lead and inspire teams, you play a critical role in driving transformational change and optimising processes to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and collaborative approach enable you to engage stakeholders at all levels, challenge the status quo, and drive innovation to achieve business objectives effectively.
Essential
- 4+ years of experience in specific Change Management roles, or Management Consulting.
- Track record of successfully delivering large scale change initiatives of significant complexity with multiple stakeholders and broad impact across a multiyear programme.
- Expert knowledge of Change management theories (e.g. ADKAR/Prosci, Kotter, Lewin, etc).
- Programme Management and Lean methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering end-to-end change plans from inception through to user adoption.
- Line management experience.
